September 23, 2020
Re-opening is going well and I have a few updates. My commitment for your safety and health is ongoing.
I have been doing some research and have found some very helpful, fact-based information about the COVID-19 pandemic. You can find this info at the bottom of this page. Please share it with everyone you know!
My practice follows the Practice Guidelines recommended by New York
State Forward Phase 3, AMTA-NY and the CDC.
I will communicate with you before your appointment to obtain updates on your health and to ask you specifically about your potential exposure to COVID-19.
Effective today, September 23, 2020, if you have traveled outside of New York to any of the following states or territories - Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wyoming, Wisconsin- you must wait 14 days before coming to my office. This order comes from the NYS Governor's Office.
Masks will be worn by both myself and the client at all times.
Please arrive at your exact scheduled appointment time.
When you get to the office, remain in your car. I will text and/or call you to let you know when it is ok to enter the building. This is to make sure I have ample time to clean the office and treatment room.
Your temperature will be taken once you enter the office to confirm you do not have a fever.
I will ask you if you have developed any symptoms of illness since our last communication over the phone/text. If you feel ill on the day of your session, there is no penalty for canceling your appointment. Massage is not advised if you have any symptoms of illness.
I will ask you to sign an informed consent form that states, "I understand that close contact with people increases the risk of infection from COVID-19. By signing this form, I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive massage from this practitioner."
You will need to use hand sanitizer once you enter the office and again when you leave. I will be providing sanitizer.
The office and treatment room will be cleaned before and after each client with hospital grade cleaner. I will be changing my mask, eye wear and clothes between appointments. Sheets and towels will be washed every night on the hottest settings.
I look forward to seeing you all again! Please contact me if you have any further questions or concerns that I have not addressed here. Thank you for your patience, trust and loyalty.
Kindest regards, Erika
